MUSEUM OF WEST CALAVERAS HISTORY SET TO OPEN!

Sal Manna —Fri, 06/17/2022 - 21:32

Welcome to the Museum of West Calaveras History! We

are (probably) the world's smallest mobile museum!

Finally, after years of effort and a generous donation,

we were able to take the abandoned 100-year-old

Wallace post office building and scale it down to

fit onto a utility trailer. Our grand opening will be on

Monday, July 4th on the grounds of the Valley Springs

train depot from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free.

The premiere exhibit will be about Black Bart and will

feature the only reward letter for the legendary outlaw's

capture! Please come by and visit!
