“This marks a breakthrough event for West Calaveras,” says Sal Manna, head of the Society for the Preservation of West Calaveras History that created the exhibit.  “For the first time, a presentation of our history will be seen in Murphys, a major Calaveras tourist destination.  We are very grateful to Ironstone for this opportunity to bring our history to many thousands of visitors.”  Manna adds that, along with photographs, never-before-exhibited historic artifacts will also be on display.

For hours and directions, please call Ironstone at 728-1251.
