Currently the Society for the Preservation of West Calaveras County has over 2000 items archived. This includes vintage photos, letters, stamps, coins, Native American artifacts, Railroad Memorabilia, and much more.

Some of theses artifacts have a sensitive nature to them and we do not post them on our website.

Some of the historic locations need to be protected and posting about them publicly on the site could lead to destruction of these properties. Therefor we are very careful what we post here.

Occasionally we'll write about these artifacts and locations in our newsletter. If you are interested in finding out about these things it is highly recommended that you subscribe to our newsletter by entering your name and email below.
